Raised in the small, wine growing town of St. Helena, in Napa Valley, wine is in our DNA. As we approached the completion of our college degrees, our passion for wine and business was evident. We realized our mutual dream when we began producing wine, breaking away from our winemaking families, Swanson Vineyards and Trinchero Family Estates, and developing ideas to craft a unique identity for ourselves.

We created Taken Wine In 2010 to introduce our friends and other young people to wine. The Taken Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was our first wine created, released in 2010. Each succeeding vintage represents another step we have “taken” on this journey.
